Hisashi,
I am running a 9-gig Seagate drive in a Windows NT box for a video
encoding system we are putting together. With the case off, it
runs HOT. I've had no problems with or without the case on, and
have talked with some of the local hardware guys who said it should
be no problem.
On a side note, wish me luck. I'm going to be installing NetBSD 1.2.1
on my Mac IIsi for the first time tonight. If it works, I might
even try to install it on my IIci at work.
