Ok, after getting X windows from the 1.2 dist, I tried it out.
The only thing I get from it is this:
Screen 0 at 0x41b8000, 832 by 624, rowB 832, fbbase 0.
The screen itself blanks to white, and stays that way.
X worked just fine with MADHATTER#40 on my Quadra 650 on internal video.
Now I'm trying it with GENERIC-37, with no success.
