The code is there is 1.2 and seemed to work fine for me.  It hadn't been
tested enough for formal release.  In 1.2 you enabled it by uncommenting
something somewhere, not with an explicit config option.  Perhaps someone
can say if that applies to 1.2.1 as well.

Signature failed Preliminary Design Review.
Feasibility of a new signature is currently being evaluated.
