Hello Arai-san,
Here is how I do it. In /etc/sendmail find the section that says "local
info". At the beginning of this section, you should see a line that says:
Cwlocalhost
After that line, enter the following line:
Fw-o /etc/sendmail.cw
This tells send mail to look in the /etc/sendmail.cw file for a lists of
hostnames that it is allowed to accept mail for. Here is how my section
looks in my /etc/sendmail.cf file:
##################
# local info #
##################
Cwlocalhost
# File containing the names of hosts for which we receive mail.
Fw-o /etc/sendmail.cw
Now, create a file /etc/sendmail.cw In this file, you list the fully
qualified domain names of all the hosts that you will accpet mail for, one
on each line. In your case, the /etc/sendmail.cw file should look like
this:
explosion.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp
explosion.chem.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp
Sendmail should then accept e-mail for both domains. Of course, you have
to kill and restart sendmail after you make these changes to the config
files.
