Thanks for being so patient, folks.  I finally managed to get around to
adding all your (very helpful!) comments to the Install How-To, and even
updated it for the 1.3ALPHA release.

So once again, get your red pens out and point your browsers to
<http://www.nyx.net/~lekollar/install.html>.  If this one looks good, I
give advance permission to copy it to puma.

This document, like the previous version, mentions a Jaz How-to that I
haven't written yet.  Hopefully before Christmas.... :-)
