} The kernel I was using previously was compiled form sources supped on the
} 25th of October. It worked fine. It looks like Allens new esp SCSI driver
} has been merged in since then. Could it be a problem with that? The new esp
} driver worked (mostly) fine on my machine - the previous (working) kernel
} was using it.
}
(following up to my own message - a sign of a sick mind)
I've definitely got a problem here. Just in case my kernal sources were
corrupted or something was mis-configured, I downloaded the 1.3 beta files
and did a quick clean install onto a spare disk I have. The result was the
same - the 1.3 beta kernal paniced at the same place.
Any ideas? Has anyone else out there with a LC475 or a Q605 tried a late alpha
kernel or the beta kernal?
