The fact t A/UX runs MacOS 7.1, and runs stock binary Sys 7 apps is
incredibly cool. However, as Unix goes, it's very different from BSD
variants. I found myself lost w/out a complete set of manuals. A lot of
things don't work the same way. I know I coudl have gotten help, but I
already knew BSD, so I just kept using NetBSD. I have another Mac, so I
can live w/out the MacOS part of A/UX, and it is intollerably slow on an
SE/30.
Also, I don't believe there is as much software ported to A/UX, or that
the ports come as soon as they do for NetBSD.
