Has any one had any success in applying the mad hatter patch to the 1.3
sorces & running X on a quadra 800?  I did one by hand but must have did
it wrong.  It compiled but at boot I don't see the mesg 'grf0 at
intvid'.  

What is the easy way to apply a patch?  I've been using vi and typing
the changes in.  I assume there is a command that combines the two files
adding code where the is a '+' sign & deleting code where there is a '-'
sign.
