I've got ethernet working between my two macs.  I've got PPP working,
and I've got IPNat working.  Really COOL!  The stuff to learn seems
endless. 

I'm using the Wstudenmund PPP scripts.  Does anybody know if there is a
way I can monitor the connection status while dialing ensues?  

Something similar to this:
dialing...
connect...
logging on...
starting ppp...
PPP up, your IP address is  xxx.xxx.xx.xxx
