Hi, I'm watching my friends install a linux system over the
internet; basically i see this system booting up in dos on a boot disk,
and installing/uncompressing the tarfiles as it's receiving them. i think
this is a really cool feature that probably attracts a lot of linux users.
I was wondering if there's a way this either is done with some ports of
netbsd, or it can be done. sure, the user needs some kind of macos
partition to boot the machine up with, but maybe the installer program
could have a "network install" option where it receives all the tarballs
as it's installing them. (maybe the machine boots a kernel, then downloads
the tarfiles, etc. - he hasn't actually done it yet, it's gotta be either
of the two methods). how hard can this method be to implement into
port-mac68k?
