when i downloaded it before, i was using netscape navigator 4.03. this
time i used fetch 3.03 and forced it to do binary. i then moved it to a
floppy and put the file on the IIsi harddisk. i tried installing it using
the install utility and got same error:
Choose file(s) to unpack
Inflating...
invalid compressed data--crc error
Unexpected end of file -- not a valid tar archive.
Try using the mini-shell and cpin or cpout.
Finished extracting kern.tgz.
hope this helps.
