Good question. It should either be a DB-25, or a Centronics-36 plug (most
external mac SCSI cases use Centronics-50 connecters to give an example).

If it really is a serial printer, then a standard mac-to-modem (Din-8 to
DB-25) cable should work. (none of the macs which run NetBSD should have
DB-9 connectors for the serial ports)

All you have to do is get the baud rate right.

Can you talk to it using a terminal emulator under MacOS?
