I made another try at building CLISP today, running what I think is a
1.3.2 kernel (I built it from a tarball of what I think are 1.3.2
sources, though uname reports it as 1.3 ;). The configure script tests
mmap at one point, and then the kernel panics thusly:
panic: enter: out of address space
Stopped at _Debugger+0x6: unlk a6

_Debugger(ffffffff,7b3e80,e07fc,e0688,0) + 40
_pmap_enter_ptpage(620100,d000000) + ea

_vm_fault(5af100,d000000,3,0) + c42
_trap(8,4a1,d0000a9) + 500
faultstkadj() + 0
Does anyone have any insight into this?
TIA
