Yep. It's a problem with interupts somehow getting turned on in the serial
chip when they're not supposed to. Unfortunatly it's been with us since
just before 1.3. 

I hope to have a fix in the tree soon (like tomorrow).

Try booting again. It might work. :-)

Wait, the 1.3 kernel was fine? Weird. The serial code's not changed since
1.3. :-(
