I know the BSD 4.4 filesystem created by default in newfs is not
compatible with the Installer, but I thought the one created with "newfs
-O" was. I could swear that's how I installed my last system and it's
still up and running. Have I been saved by dumb luck and intense
stupidity? ;-)
