I setup my ppp according to the wrstuden.ppp.setup.tgz files and it says 
that it starts up but it never connects to my modem (suprafax288).  It 
usually will have the led display tell you what is going on and if there 
is any contact from the computer but I didn't see any change what so 
ever. Can anyone help???   I copied what the computer said below.  I am 
not sure how to dig deeper to find out what went on.
