The Farallon EtherWave adaptors are Ethernet to LocalTalk bridges. The
MacOS is communicating with these devices through AppleTalk. I may be out
of touch, but I thought that LocalTalk wasn't working with NetBSD, so the
EtherWave adaptors won't work either.

If I wanted to get a Classic II on my network, I would attach it to one of
my IIcxes running NetBSD with a serial cable and run PPP over that
connection. :) That's the only suggestion that I can think of. Sorry if it
isn't much help.
