Dear Mark,

   I'm trying to the Carrera040 card to work with NetBSD.  I've been 
messing with the kernel before start up to try to get it to work.  Basically,
it sounds pretty much the same as what you are doing except I'm switching
from a '030 to '040, so the code should be the same.  Anyway, I have a new
locore.s file that you may want to modify and try to get your accelerator
working.
