Are there other helping out with this coding project? Can I scare up some
info for those maintaining the OSFA Xmac68k server?

That's okay. Just having my box run any colors is a humongous improvemnet
over the b&w mode. I was having withdrawls like when I was stuck with a
black and white tv...sorry folks, I missed the monochrome revolution when I
bought my one and only computer in 1993: this Q700, which went from 256k to
"millions" when I up-ed the ram to 20 megs.
I've been trying to get Gimp up and running on NetBSD. Has anyone been
successful with that? Here's my attempts so far, run from the pkgsrc/graphics/
directory:
http://www.csulb.edu/~bwildasi/unix/netbsd/gimp-gtk/gimp.core-notes
http://www.csulb.edu/~bwildasi/unix/netbsd/gimp-gtk/gimp-typescript
http://www.csulb.edu/~bwildasi/unix/netbsd/gimp-gtk/gtk-typescript
http://www.csulb.edu/~bwildasi/unix/netbsd/gimp-gtk/netbsd-startup-messages
I've subscribed myself to the gimp user and developer mailing lists, which
I know i'm on since I get the email every day, but no takers yet to fix
the "NULL" warning messagers gtk is throwing out to the xterm. The typescripts
above show that and compile and install were sucessful for both but there
appears to be one file missing when gimp built the ~/.gimp/ files: pluginsrc
or something like that. But that doesn't appear to have anything to do with
the gtk warning messages.
Any help is appreciated!
Sincerely,
Brian
