You guys were right.  I hadn't mounted my usr partition before 
installing the comp.tgz package.  Fixed [1/1]

I ran newaliases and everything is ok there.  Fixed [2/2]

I found the apps I was looking for right where you specified.  Fixed 
[3/3]

The mailing list has proved very useful so far, scoring a 100%!  Thanks 
a lot guys.  You really are making things happen.
