Have any external drives?  Try checking the cables and termination.
Experiment with active vs. passive termination, if you can.  I'm assuming
you've already made sure you don't have any bad memory and have done the
obligatory MacOS reinstall.  You might also try swapping cables on the
internal drive(s).  Beyond that, no ideas.
