Thanks. That gives me an idea for a bit more playing. Otherwise I'll
have to give up until I save enough pennies for a G4. I don't want to
whack the C610 'cause it's my main NetBSD machine. :)

No, I don't have any 1.3.2 kernels, but the kernel (quadra friendly) at
ftp://ftp.eskimo.com/u/w/wormey/netbsd/kernels/netbsd.w76.Z is what I
use on my C610 with the -current binaries (almost 2 months old) at
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/arch/mac68k/binary/
The kernel and snapshot were produced in approximately the same time
frame and shouldn't (I'm hedging because my memory's faulty, but I
_believe_ that's the combination I'm running -- the kernel for certain
'cuz I sucked it out of the machine a few days ago, and I always upload
the same binaries that I'm running) give the proc size mismatch thing.

Contrary to popular belief, Unix is user friendly.
It just happens to be selective about who it makes friends with.
