This should probably go to port-ppc, but I'd mention that, after you
figure out a way to start the kernel (maybe they should add BootX
support), you might look into borrowing back drivers from MkLinux.  Most
of its drivers are fairly BSD-ish, and in fact, lots of stuff there was
borrowed from NetBSD initially, so porting it back shouldn't be too bad,
especially compared to writing drivers from scratch.
