I dunno. The difference between real mem and available mem works out
to 5.4M, and then 486 buffers add almost 2 more M. I suppose I do have
a few things in there that I don't actually need.

Next question: not yet. My kernel build just choked on raidframe. 

So now, has anyone booted 1.3.2-GENERIC with only 8M of ram?
