Hello,
I'm trying to compile a 1.3.2 kernel with a few changes. I have the 1.3.2
snapshot installed on my system.
After I config my config file, enter the directory and type "make depend"
and get several errors:
Makefile:42: *** missing separator. Stop.
line 42 is ".ifndef S" (minus the quotes).
After commenting out this line and running make depend again, I noticed
that it barfed on another line that started with a . (period). Anyone know
what the problem is? I'm pretty sure my snapshot and kernel src tree are
both 1.3.2. Is this a symptom of them not both being 1.3.2?
thanks,
- a
