	I am sending this in hopes that I not waist anymore of peoples time.

	The winner of this race to answer was "Space Case".  Ken Nakata had the

		The correct answer FYI was I forgot to edit /etc/shells after changing my
passwd files shell

I did take the advice of  "Dr. Bill Studenmund". I changed the passwd shell
back to /bin/csh.
I did put root deny in ftpusers as the advice of "Any Sinesio".
