HI,
I managed to configure an /etc/printcap for my laserwriter selelct 310.
#By Marc Coevoet, 8bits, baudrate 57600...
lp|laserwriter-selesct-310:\
:lp=/dev/tty01:sd=/var/spool/lpd:lf=/var/log/lpd-errs:\
:br#57600:rw:fc#0000374:fs#0000003:xc#0:xs#0040040:\
:ms=-parity,-cstopb,-clocal,-cread,crtscts,ixon,-opost:\
:mx#0:sf:sh:sb
Watch out your /etc/ttys does not define /etc/tty01.
Special about the 310 is that it does not use appletalk. I know somebody
that used
it with linux by parallel port.
In general, Apple lasers need 8 bit characters. (the ms=... clause).
Thanks to Steve Revilak for a mesh of printcaps I used to make this one work.
Marc Coevoet.
