My recollection from an old hardware book is that the SE/30 had the same
ROMs as the IIx and IIcx, but built in video. The IIx and IIcx had NuBus
video cards so an extra bit of circuitry was added to the SE/30 to make the
built in video appear as a NuBus card so that the ROMs did not have to be
different. Does that help?
