I have in the past, but I don't have it connected at the moment.
I use a two-page monochrome card with it.  It'll actually do either
2-bit (4-level) or 4-bit (16-level) grayscale, I think, but I haven't
fooled around with it at all.  Once the tube warms up, it's a great
display.
