Howdy all
I'm a unix newbie, with a kernel panic on my 840av.
The boot screen report says
Panic:trap:type Oxf, code 0x0, V 0x0 --no pcb.
A few days ago I had a weird hiccup in my SCSI system. The system
couldn't recognize *any* drives on the chain, even the CD. Disktools
couldn't see the drives, Norton couldn't mount them, FWB couldn't mount
them.
Zapping the pram fixed *everything* on the MacOS side, but since then
the NetBSD side has been wonky. I cpin'd in a fresh 1.3.3 kernel. That
worked for an evening, and then stopped working again. I cpin'd in
another fresh kernel, and it didn't work at all.
Any thoughts as to the cause and best solution stratagy. It'd be nice
not to reinstall.
Thanks
