I just added a new partition /usr/test. It is mounted OK.
This is the fstab file:
/dev/sd1a / ffs rw 1 1
/dev/sd1b none swap sw 0 0
/dev/sd0g /var ffs rw 1 1
/dev/sd1g /usr/test ffs rw 1 2
kern /kern kernfs rw 0 0
proc /proc procfs rw 0 0
Here is the result of the df command:
/dev/sd1a 991501 822310 70040 92% /
/dev/sd0g 124542 28646 89668 24% /var
/dev/sd1g 302265 1 287150 0% /usr/test
kernfs 1 1 0 100% /kern
procfs 4 4 0 100% /proc
So I guess I'm half way there.
I want to mount /usr/pkgsrc on this partion and I don't want to screw this
up like I did with my var partion. What would you do next to get
/usr/pkgsrc over on to the new partion /dev/sd1g and of course change
the name of /usr/test to /usr/pkgsrc? Does anyone have any tips?
Guy
