You see, till I look at kab and understand what it is I imagined it to slow
up
all the K environment.

Yes, I use KDE 1.1.1 with NetBSD 1.4.1 kernel and base and all another sets
not upgradede from 1.4.
I saw that KDE applications not only start and open windows slowly, but
also slowly process data. For example KPPP with opened log window
writes letters of modems chat so slowly that I myself should write faster
from keyboard. I'm very glad that PPPD works as it was before, without
any visible decrease in speed.
And also Backspace key deletes letters only after highlighting them with
mouse.
I supposed KDE to help me with using cyrillic keyboard and fonts, but failed
to
configure kikbd and font manager.
