Hello,
I've been suffering with this problem for some time now and hope =
that some of you can help me out. I have an old mac LC 2 with no FPU. =
I've installed 1.4, 1.4.1, and even 1.3.3 all with the same results. =
What happens is that when running certain programs like sendmail, ftp, =
ncftp, top, as, etc. I get an unimplemented instruction error, or in as =
a signal 4. I've found that section 6.9 of the mac68k FAQ seems to be =
relevant to my problem but the link to the precompiled library in it is =
broken, and when I try to compile it myself I recieve a signal 4 from =
as. I've even attempted cross compiling from linux i686. It would be =
very helpful if someone reading this could perform the patch to libm =
listed in section 6.9 of the FAQ =
(http://www.netbsd.org/Ports/mac68k/faq/faq-6.html#ss6.9), compile it, =
tar.gz it, and please send it to me. Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. - My cross compiler in linux successfully compiled a little =
"what's your name? hi <name>" program that ran on the LC 2, yet the =
library build kept failing on I think the square root function.
