well, i know not everyone agrees with the rc5/SETI projects, but has 
anyone gotten an rc5 client running with a GENERIC kernel? i get 
"Illegal Instruction: core dumped"

i -was- trying to compile a new kernel that had support for more 
binary types (ELF etc) but it was taking far too long and it died 
after 53 hours compiling ;)

so anyway, should i restart my kernel compile, or is there a trick to 
the rc5 binary?

mac SE/30, 8MB RAM
