Hi Henry.  I'm a newbie myself, so I can't tell you what, specifically, is
wrong, but I'm thinking you would need to install "kern" too, at least,
besides "base" and "etc".  Without it, I would think you have a body
without a brain, so to speak, so who knows what it would do without it.
Just my guess, offered as it seems to be rather quiet today, being Sunday
and all.....
