I went back to 1.3.3 and installed that after initialising the file system
and that worked with the SBC kernel, but dumped tons of the unexpected state
with the generic kernel.
I have now loaded the 'current', what is this, 1.4.2 or 1.4.3.
This appears to work with the SBC kernel but sometimes hangs on the ADB bus
probe.
With 'current' I have to do "cd /etc; sh ./MAKEDEV wscons" (as documented in
this thread) and
now can log on etc (wow, it has IPv6).
So I am up and running if I don't mind doing a reset if ADB probe hangs.
