Depending on what you want to do with the domains, you can probably do 
with CNAMEs in DNS.  I use CNAMEs and virtual hosts in Apache for:

  http://realistlista.uio.no/
  http://hf-lista.uio.no/
  http://sv-lista.uio.no/
  http://nsu.uio.no/mjos/

alias skranglekasse.uio.no, a MacIIcx with 8MB RAM.
