Hello,
I have a generic 1.4.1 kernel, and I can't seem to redirect the console =
messages to either an xterm (with xterm -C) or xconsole. I've even tried =
to redirect the output of syslog to a file, and even the serial port - =
but it still pops out to the real console and causes problems with X.
Now, do I need to recompile the kernel, and if so - how? I'm familiar =
with FreeBSD, but it doesn't seem to work the same.
Thanks,
Seth Henry
