Hi,

I'm trying install 1.5 Alpha2 on my SE/30 with a DayStar 030/50MHz and 
Asante MacCon+30iET64. NetBSD 1.2 worked fine on the same machine. I 
reformatted the old disk and started with "Mkfs".

I had two problems now.

1) Could not mount a CD-ROM.
The CD-ROM I used was an old Apple 2x CD-ROM drive with caddy.

# mount -t cd9660 -o ro /dev/cd0c /cdrom
cd0(ncrscsi0:3:0): Sense Error Code 0x36 at block no. 1536 (decimal)
mount_cd9660: /dev/cd0c on /cdrom: Input/output error

After the message above, it hung when I retried. I noticed the booting 
message about SCSI disk and CD-ROM was strange.

2) Could not use ethernet.
ae0 seemed to be configured correctly. ifconfig seemed to work. But no 
responses were got by ping. The result of netstat -rn seemed good. Very 
strange.

What can I do for debugging these phenomena?
If I could get any advices, I would compile a kernel and try it.
