I seem to have lost the url that had the patches for fixing the scsi
performance.  Can somebody please repost them?

In addition, I'm new to this patching thing, is there a HOWTO on how to
patch code?

I can read the HOWTO to build a new kernel, but I'm not sure what to do to
get the new code into it.
