if you're looking for a workstation to run gnome or kde on, then mac68k
isn't so useful, but it works really nicely for many other things. An old
IIci will serve quite nicely for applications like a home office firewall,
a small mail server, etc. And as someone else pointed out, machines like
this are essentially free.
