It will be a LONG time! I still use my Mac IIx for editing, word 
processing and as a smart terminal, and for those purposes it is as 
good as my 9500!

Since most of the PCs I see in businesses are single-use machines 
(i.e. just WORD or just EXCELL), I see no reason not to use Macs the 
same way in their dotage.
