Two votes for bash so far. Yeah, I am thinking exactly that, since I 
know and like bash. -Was- thinking since csh was the default, maybe 
take the time to learn about it. But why drive a beetle if I can 
drive a lexus instead - the novelty and usefulness of the beetle 
wears off quickly.
