Sure it does. The 1.4.2 and 1.4.3 sets were built on a Quadra 840AV.
As a print server and package builder, the machine is very solid, and
stays up as long as the power holds out (up to a month or so). I
couldn't say about 1.5 or 1.5.1_ALPHA or current. 1.5.1_{ALPHA,BETA}
would probably be worth a shot; current is always risky.
