Yep yep yep yep, pretty much.
I have bought, I think, four or so Ethernet cards, all of which have
worked flawlessly with NetBSD out-of-the-jiffy-bag, so to speak.
Check out <http://www.macbsd.com/macbsd/macbsd-docs/ethernet.html> It is
worth a look, although I think that's not quite up with the current
state of things. :]
I can't quite remember enough to say which chips work, but the chances
are good as long as you don't get something silly. ;]
