me again (the newbie with the HDSC-problem)

I'm looking for an ethernet card for my Mac IIci and I've checked out the 
"Ethernet Status FAQs" (Now you know on which level I'm fighting)
But can someone tell me how they are called in general, so that a can look 
them up. (PDS slots??)

But why I'm actually calling is:
GERMAN folks: Where could I try to get one?
