I second that. You may just ask in some hardware-newsgroup, it turns out
that quite a lot of people have spare 68040's kicking around, or you may
even take old laser-printers by HP apart, hoping to find one.
I still wonder, however (getting a bit off topic), how Motorola could
possibly justify the price for new '040s. These are hell-expensive
(compared to modern processors), and, measured by today's standards, not
really worth the expense.
