hi,

I just bought a 10Mbit eth hub(2nd hand) and it doesn't seem to work.

The thing has the following text:

"5-port 10BASE-2/T  Palm top hub
model EH-500(V.3)
Planet Technology Corp.
Made in Taiwan"

I connect the BNC side with a coax-IIsi machine
and everything seems normal. (the light flickers)
When I connect an imac to the utp side (with a patch cable,
not switched) the light is always on.

There are 5  utp ports: ("BNC", "STP1", "STP2", "STP3", "STP4 or Daisy 
chain")



Somebody any ideas?

I've been thinking of trying a switched utp cable....
