Well, NT and Win2k used to have their hosts file in %SYSTEMROOT%\system32\drivers\etc
There is also a file called LMhosts.sam which is some kind of extended name database ( you can define
additional properties for each machine, like domain controllers and so on ), rename it to lmhosts and it should
work too.
