Earthlink does PPPoE? I was not aware.
If you really want to use a Centris 650 as an IP NAT router, then I'd
recommend that you upgrade to NetBSD 1.6. It has PPPoE support in the
kernel, which you will need for a 68040 if you want to use the full speed
of your connection.
Otherwise, I have many Quadras doing IP NAT. Wonderfully stable hardware.
I even have a few doing PPPoE for Verizon connections.
Verizon sucks, BTW.
